Male Enhancement and Penis Size

Is penis size a big deal? You bet it is! Throughout all of human history the mostfamous symbol of male power and virility has been the erect penis. Have you ever gone to a museum and seen various forms of ancient art--vases, platters, etc.--decorated with images of virile men with overly erect penises? Were you suprised to see such images? You should not have been.Penis size has long been associated with power, confidence and sexual prowess. So it's no wonder that the image would be used in artwork of the day.

It seems that since time began menhave been trying to increase the size of their penises, to maintain longer and harder erections, and to use these attributes to attract more sexual partners. All cultures--from China to South Asia to Africa to pre-Columbian America--have tried several different techniques to enhance the male sex organ. Some of these cultures have relied on herbal extracts from various plants; others have relied on physical manipulation of the penis, either stretching, pulling or using some form of traction. There are now even male enhancement creams and pills, like viagra and cialis, which purport to increase penis size, improve and maintain erections and erection quality.

If you are interested in male enhancement, where would you look for information? Well, just about everywhere!Just look at most newspapers, sports magazines or any other medium which appeals to men. They all seem toinclude advertisements for products that the seller claims will increase penis size and/or strength. And it's all over the internet, in advertisements, pop-ups, etc. Because of the importance that men place on the size of their penis, or their insecurity regarding penis size, it's really not that difficult to convince a man that he really needs one of these products. Tell a man that it's really quite simple to have a bigger cock and you're already crackedopenhis wallet.

Most men already think their penises are too small. We can thankthe ever-growing pornography industry for that. Men routinely see performerswhose penises are very large, very hard, and always ready. But is thisjust an image or is itreality? Most scientific studies show the average penisis somewhere between three and four inches when flaccid, and between five and seven inches when erect. So most men who think their penises are too small actually are quite average. Still, they'll try almost anything to increase the size of their male member, because men, and women, believe that men with larger penises have more successful sex lives.

Let's look at the numbers. One study of 300 college-aged men, about two-thirds of their penises were between five and six inches. The subjects went into a tent, and found porno magazines to put them in the proper mood, so to speak. Once they had achieved erection, at least two different medical professionals took the measurements. The researchers were concerned that only men who were proud of their large penises would respond to the call for this study. But by offering prizes and free gifts to the participants, the researches managed to get a wide range of subjects, so the numbers are reliable.

So although penis size is seen as important, but most men are average and really have no need to worry that they need male enhancement.
